The Adding Energy Podcast is dedicated to Energy Usage, Energy Efficiency and Energy Issues. This podcast is intended for anyone with a utility bill.  The full podcast can be anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour.  Full Podcasts have details for you to compare to what you have in your house. It will even included math and optional home work.

Super Insulated homes are seen as the energy efficiency pinnacle. Their low heating and cooling loads make heating and cooling seem optional, but we are missing part of the story. This week we talk about the unspoken effect of the super insulated house and why it is probably the reason your air conditioning is running right now. Also, why just adding more and more insulation might not always make your utility bill go down.
